PRESQUE ISLE DOWNS STABLES
Development of a thoroughbred racetrack and entertainment complex included all ancillary facilities. The back side area currently contains 570 stalls in five 100 stall Stables, a Receiving Barn with 48 stalls, a Stakes Barn with 22 stalls, a Test Barn and Groom’s Quarters. Future expansion includes 500 additional stalls, and cafeteria / recreation building for over 370,000 s.f. of building space. The Architectural Services included Feasibility Study, Site Planning, Programming, Architectural Design, Interior Design and Construction Administration by Shelane Buehler, AIA while a partner at another firm.
