The thoroughbred racetrack and entertainment complex design included all ancillary facilities located in Summit Township. The 138,000 sq. ft. Clubhouse includes dining, slot machine gaming area, bars, administrative and back of house service areas. The Paddock Administration Building is 25,300 sq. ft. including administrative offices, racing offices and full jockey locker facilities. The backside area currently contains 570 stalls in 7 barns, a test barn, Groom's Quarters for over 370,000 sq. ft. of building space. The architect was responsible for all architectural, interior design and furniture procurement work for all aspects of the 533,300 sq. ft. complex. Architectural Services included Feasibility Study, Site Planning, Programming, and all phases of Architectural Design, Interior Design and Construction Administration by Shelane Buehler, AIA while a partner at another firm.
